Every Other Word uses the more traditional song elements of verses, choruses, and bridges. However, rather than using the linear [verse, chorus, verse, chorus] arrangement, this song is structured in the form [chorus, verse, verse, chorus, bridge]. These elements are bookended by an introduction at the beginning and a coda at the end. The intro/coda is actually an electronically manipulated "re-mix" of the song’s bridge.
